dsc_0136 WHO ARE WE

We are owned and operated by Clyde Scouts, a recognised Scottish Charity and part of the UK Scout Association. Since opening in 1926 the centre has continued to grow and develop reflecting advances within Scouting, the Curriculum for Excellence and current industry practise.

We offer a range of programmes and facilities for your group to share and enjoy our stunning 120 acre estate.

Group Camps/Activity Days/School Trips/Events/Corporate Team Building/Self Catered Accommodation/Group Residentials/Activity Training/Awards.......

To help us maintain the safe environment we have created here at Auchengillan, we are only able to accept bookings from recognised groups whose aims and values are conducive with those of The Scout Association, and who have suitable policies and procedures in place for the vetting of their staff and volunteers, ensuring the safety of all young people using our facilities. If you are unsure whether your group would be eligible to use our facilities, please get in touch with us to discuss.

We appreciate the challenges that leaders face organising, planning and running camps and residentials. That's why we believe in a tailored programme to suit your needs. No 2 groups are the same and who knows each individual better than you, we'll work with you and support you through each stage of your visit to ensure your specific needs and learning outcomes are achieved.

As an AALS licensed centre and member of the Institute of Outdoor Learning we strive to ensure all of our programmes are underpinned by safety, learning, challenge and fun. The centre adheres to Standard Operating Procedures supported by a comprehensive Risk Benefit Analysis with all activities delivered in conjunction with The UK Scout Associations Policy Organisation and Rules, National Governing Body Guidelines and the Curriculum for Excellence.
